Saab has been acquired by BAE Systems Hägglunds to supply the UTAAS (Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System) targeting and fire control system for the CV90 combat vehicle. The order is worth around 314 million Swedish kronor, equivalent to around 28 million euros. Deliveries are scheduled for the period 2029 to 2030.

UTAAS is a modular, integrated targeting and fire control system for the Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90). The system is already in use in the armed forces of Sweden, Norwaythe Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia and the Ukraine in use. In addition, the CV90 – including UTAAS – was also ordered by the Czech Republic (-> BAE Systems recently handed over the first vehicle to the Czech armed forces) and Slovakia ordered.
