Saab and the Ukrainian defense company Radionix recently signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation in the fields of sensors and defense electronics. The aim is to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

The collaboration will focus on the development and maintenance of sensors and defense electronics in all areas. The strengths of both companies will be incorporated into the collaboration.

“We look forward to working with Radionix, leveraging the expertise of both companies. This agreement underlines Saab’s strong commitment to support Ukraine’s defense capability and defense industry,” said Anders Carp, Deputy CEO of Saab.

Radionix is to contribute important expertise in areas such as radar and optical targeting devices to the partnership. In Ukraine, the company is a central component of the industrial defense base (-> current news from the Ukraine war).

The Swedish company Saab, on the other hand, will contribute with its experience in the defense industry and expertise in these areas of technology.
