The product portfolio of RUAG Ammotec (BU Defense & Law Enforcement) now also includes laser light modules, target markers, thermal imaging and thermal devices from Brolis. At the same time, Brolis benefits from the worldwide dealer network of RUAG Ammotec DLE.
“Ammotec products stand for the highest quality and precision. We apply the same standards when selecting our cooperation partners. Brolis complements our existing range and we are delighted to be able to offer these high-quality, modern products to the government market,” says René Hauser, Senior Director Business Development & Portfolio at RUAG Ammotec DLE. In the future, powerful laser light modules (LLM) for long weapons, infrared target markers and illuminators, night vision devices, thermal devices and powerful weapon sights in the short-wave infrared range (SWIR) will be offered.
Brolis was founded on August 9, 2011 by the three Vizbaras brothers Augustinas, Kristijonas and Dominykas in Vilnius, Lithuania. They started very successfully with the development and production of sensors, semiconductors and infrared laser products from the near infrared to the mid infrared range. Today, Brolis is a licensed military system developer and manufacturer. The company develops a range of electro-optical systems and components for security, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting applications operating in the near (NIR), short-wave (SWIR) and long-wave infrared (LWIR) ranges. The products are valued by various militaries and used in NATO Stock Number (NSN) operations. “We see RUAG Ammotec as a strong partner for the future and we are pleased to be able to use Ammotec’s internationally established distribution network,” says Dominykas Vizbaras, Managing Director of Brolis. At Ammotec, Brolis products are distributed exclusively by the Defense & Law Enforcement business unit and are intended for military and governmental use.
