The fleet service company BwFuhrparkService GmbH is procuring 76 forest firefighting vehicles (FlKfz WBBk) from Rosenbauer on behalf of the German Armed Forces. The decisive factor for the award of the contract to Rosenbauer Germany was the most economical offer in the tender.

These are vehicles from the MT series. These are built according to the tactical requirements of the fire departments and equipped with the latest technology. They not only have robust superstructures and high-quality extinguishing systems, but also integrated LED lighting packages from the equipment compartment to the ambient lighting and can be operated in all functions via displays. The forest fire engines are built on Tatra T-815-7 4×4 Force, an off-road chassis designed for robustness and off-road capability. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFV7LHBXMBY The compact vehicles are powered by 395 hp Euro 6 engines, allowing the vehicles weighing up to 18 tons to be moved quickly and swiftly even over gravel tracks and unpaved terrain. The fording depth is up to one meter. Water can also be dispensed while driving.
