Rheinmetall is intensifying its efforts to develop next-generation technologies by opening three new centers of excellence for advanced land autonomy. As part of its ambition to drive forward the digitalization of modern warfare, the main aim is to accelerate the introduction of the PATH Autonomous Kit.

The PATH Autonomous Kit provides scalable, intelligent and highly adaptable autonomy for a variety of platforms – from crewless ground vehicles to logistics convoys capable of navigating the most challenging terrain and environments.

Rheinmetall is opening the three new centers of excellence in Germany, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom, while expanding its current Canadian center of excellence for autonomy. “These pioneering centers will be at the heart of Rheinmetall’s autonomous revolution, enabling advanced integration, testing and national control of cutting-edge autonomous solutions,” according to a recent press release.
