Expansion of the product portfolio & technological synergies

Quantum Systems is now adding copter drones to its portfolio with the acquisition of Air Robot. This is “a decisive step in the strategy of expanding the Family of Systems and further developing its own software and AI expertise”, as the press release states.

The Arnsberg-based company Air Robot is to work closely with the Quantum Systems R&D team in Gilching in future, but despite the integration Air Robot will remain an independent company within the Quantum Systems Group.

AirRobot is the main supplier for the German Armed Forces’ Mikado II program (2022-2032) and Tier 1 supplier for Lockheed Martin in the Tiquila program of the British Ministry of Defence (2023-2033).

Air Robot Managing Director Robert Polok is also positive about the future: “The collaboration opens up completely new possibilities and creates strong synergies for the future of unmanned aviation.
