Quantum Systems announced the opening of a second manufacturing facility in Moorpark, California, on September 19. The new facility will increase production capacity to meet current and future demand from defense and security customers in both North America and Latin America, according to a recent press release.
The new 20,000 square meter facility will house production lines for the Vector eVTOL (Fixed Wing Unmanned Aircraft System) and future UAS of the company’s system family. Additional flexibility for future expansion and growth opportunities played a major role in the planning, according to the press release.
