On 23 January, the Presidium of the Austrian Federal Council visited the Base Area Operations Center in Sankt Johann im Pongau. This underground facility of the Austrian Armed Forces serves both as a command center for military operations and as a secure location for crisis management.

Insight into the “Daedalus 25” operation

During the visit, the representatives of the Federal Council were given a detailed briefing on the current airspace security operation (LRSiOp) “Daedalus 25”. was given.
