The positions of the Austrian Armed Forces will continue to be maintained during the lockdown. The invitations already sent to the position remain valid; travel to and from the position houses is therefore permitted despite the current legal framework conditions.
Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner: “We will continue to ensure that the risk of infection is kept as low as possible by stepping up protective and hygiene measures in the military bases. We can draw on our many months of experience in this regard. All those who are required to stay in the post can rest assured that everything is being done to protect their health.”
