The US company Polaris Government and Defense is launching two new military snowmobiles: the 2025 Military 650 Titan 155 and the 2025 Military 850 Pro RMK 155. They are based on the technology and driving dynamics improvements of the 2025 Polaris snowmobile product range. Production and delivery will start this year. “Many expeditionary forces turn to Polaris when it comes to Arctic mobility, and we are committed to delivering vehicles that meet the ever-changing needs of their missions,” said Nick Francis, Vice President, Polaris Government and Defense. “The all-new 2025 Military 650 Titan 155 and 2025 Military 850 Pro RMK 155 snowmobiles were developed with input from our longtime customers.” The two new models will be available this year. Both models have several modifications for military use, such as a blackout mode in which all lights can be turned off with a switch, additional white body parts for camouflage or a 12-volt socket for powering handheld electronics. Also included is infrared lighting that contributes to the driver’s vision in blackout mode. Both snowmobiles are equipped with two-stroke engines and electric start, but also support manual start in extremely cold conditions. Weight reductions and ergonomic improvements provide additional control compared to previous models, while the advanced suspension improves handling. The 2025 Military 650 Titan 155 is based on the Matryx platform with the 650 Patriot engine. The two-passenger vehicle offers space for one passenger and an additional 56 kilograms in the cargo area, as well as a trailer hitch for towing a trailer and an additional 540 kilograms of equipment. There is also a winch that can handle loads of up to 680 kilograms. With the new BackTrak20 rear suspension, independent high-clearance front suspension and Trailbreaker skis, the Titan can climb snow better than previous models. For more mobility in reverse, the rear track can be folded up and the snow guard removed. https://militaeraktuell.at/leonardo-nigerias-luftwaffe-kauft-24-neue-m-346fa/ The 2025 Military 850 Pro RMK 155 is an agile, lightweight snowmobile designed for maneuverability on patrol and reconnaissance missions. The extended track increases the snowmobile’s performance in deep snow, while a full-length radiator ensures better cooling and greater reliability in marginal snow conditions. High-altitude clutch calibration on this model ensures optimal operation at higher altitudes, while Velocity shocks are adjustable to different rider and equipment weights and sizes for better control and precise handling.
