After the Polish head of government Donald Tusk only a few weeks ago a few weeks ago in a speech to the European Parliament in StrasbourgParliament in Strasbourg just a few weeks ago, Tusk called on Europeans to invest more money in its defense.

“If we Europeans don’t spend a lot on defense now, we will be forced to spend tenfold if we can’t prevent a major war,” Tusk said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “As Polish Prime Minister, I have the right to say this loud and clear, because Poland already spends almost 5 percent of its GDP on defense. And we will continue to do so.”
