Embraer can celebrate its next sales success: Just one day after the announced the sale of a total of nine C-390M transport aircraft to the Dutch Air Force (five aircraft) and the German Armed Forces (four)the Brazilians also announced the sale of six A-29 Super Tucano combat and training aircraft to the Paraguayan Air Force (FAP) during the Farnborough Airshow.

According to Embraer, there have been more than 260 orders for the A-29 Super Tucano to date, with the delivered fleet clocking up more than 550,000 flight hours, 60,000 of which are in service. Most recently Portugal was the first country to opt for the NATO configuration A-29N Super Tucano. This is a version of the Super Tucano tailored to the needs of European nations.
