The Dutch Ministry of Defense has ordered 150 versatile patrol vehicles for the Mariniers Corps. The contract with the US manufacturer Oshkosh is to be officially signed at the end of June.

A variant of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is to be delivered – delivery is planned for 2028.

Although the vehicles are not armored, they are considered very reliable and are specially designed to remain operational even under extreme climatic conditions and in the most difficult terrain. The scope of delivery also includes a maintenance contract with Oshkosh.

In a recent press release from the Dutch Ministry of Defense, the Mariniers Corps is delighted with the new acquisition. The JLTV has already been produced in large numbers and delivered to several NATO-partners. This not only improves interoperability, but also increases the operational capability of the Dutch troops in a multinational context.
