On Saturday, August 10, the traditional open day at the Straß barracks will once again take place. From 10.00 a.m., the public will have the opportunity to see for themselves the capabilities of the Austrian Armed Forces, and in particular the infantrymen stationed in the Erzherzog Johann barracks. Other units such as the military police or the reconnaissance and artillery battalion 7 from Feldbach will also be present.
n with a display of weapons and equipment as well as dynamic demonstrations will amaze the guests. Of course, a percussion group from the Styrian military band will also be there. Visitors will be spoiled with culinary delights in the Gusto-Meile and in the cozy Buschenschank. And there is also a varied program for the youngest visitors in the children’s adventure park.
