At the Allentsteig military training area, construction machinery manufacturer Liebherr recently handed over two new PR 726 G8 bulldozers to the Austrian Armed Forces handed over.
The delivery also included extensive training and instruction in the new Liebherr Remote Control System, LiReCon for short. This allows the bulldozers to be controlled remotely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PygzO5sik8 The aim of the new teleoperated Liebherr machines is to enable the army to carry out operations safely without a driver during disasters and in zones with lots of unexploded ordnance on military training areas.
