Following a supply flight by a Hercules C-130 in mid-December 2020, the 185 Austrian blue helmets in Lebanon were equipped with a new item of clothing.
Soldiers refer to the “beige PXL camouflage shirt” as the “combat shirt”. It is worn as the topmost item of clothing – in conjunction with the “ballistic protective vest” (BaSchuWe for short), which is the soldiers’ protective equipment in Lebanon. Specifically, the “Combat Shirt” is used when transporting cargo and personnel, as well as for shooting and combat training.
