The Dutch Ministry of Defense has ordered 146 new medium and heavy semi-trailers and trailers from the Dutch company Broshuis. The corresponding contracts were signed by both parties on March 13.

The Ministry of Defence has ordered a total of three different trailer types with a load capacity of 28, 40 and 70 tons. The lightest variant can transport an Amarok, for example, the middle one a truck and the heaviest even a tank. The first trailers are to be delivered as early as next year.

The majority of the 146 trailers will go to the supply and transport command of the armed forces in Ströhen. The remaining trailers are destined for the military police, the navy and the air force.

This is not the first order from the Dutch Ministry of Defense for Broshuis. The trailers for the current tractor units already come from the company. Recently, the company also secured a major contract with the US Army for the delivery of semi-trailers.
