The air forces of the Austrian Armed Forces are in the midst of a material generation change: old helicopters and airplanes are being decommissioned, new ones – such as the Leonardo AW169 helicopter – are entering the fleet. The new Embraer C-390M transport aircraft and the UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters will follow in the next few years.
