On September 23, 2025 in Vienna at the DroneVation & Defense” symposium in Vienna will be all about unmanned systems – from military reconnaissance to civilian applications and the resulting security policy challenges. Until the end of July, Militär Aktuell is giving away subscribers to the Feldpost newsletter three tickets for the all-day event including networking evening – each worth 249 euros.
The symposium combines top-class specialist lectures, discussion panels and a comprehensive industry exhibition under one roof. The focus will be on current technological developments, threats posed by drones and the question of how innovations can be transferred to operational use more quickly.
The program promises in-depth insights and high-level expertise – with representatives from the Austrian Armed Forces, industry, research and politics. In parallel to the lecture series, leading companies along the entire drone value chain – from sensor technology and communication solutions to loitering ammunition – will be presenting themselves at the trade exhibition.
International technology groups such as Rheinmetall, Aaronia, Lockheed Martin, General Atomics and Thales, as well as specialized suppliers and research institutes from Austria and Europe will be taking part.
