From November 29 to December 2, the Medieval Advent Market at the HGM in Vienna’s Arsenal attracts craftsmen and traders, hearty medieval cuisine, market criers, music, jugglers, fencing demonstrations and delicious Christmas punch made according to old recipes.
St. Nicholas and Krampus will be present as well as a beautiful Christmas tree, and the groups “Rhiannon” and “Abinferis” will provide musical accompaniment during the festivities. There will also be a “living Advent calendar” with Christmas tales.
The festive finale is a spectacular fire show every evening. There is also a children’s program: Friday from 14:00, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Admission to the Museum of Military History is free for everyone during the Christmas market days. It is recommended to travel by public transport.
