MARSS recently announced the signing of a multi-year contract worth more than €64 million for an integrated logistics support contract with an undisclosed leading customer in the Middle East. Previously, MARSS led an international group of partners in the development and delivery of a multi-domain critical infrastructure protection system for a key strategic site in the Middle East.

Under the new contract, which will run for five years, MARSS will provide Level 1 to 4 support for the entire site – from basic maintenance to troubleshooting complex issues – and implement corrective and preventive maintenance programs to ensure the operational efficiency of the site throughout the contract period. In this context, MARSS will maintain a full-time presence in the country to manage and maintain the system.

The system, which was also developed and commissioned by MARSS, provides end-to-end protection covering surface, land, air and subsurface areas. MARSS’ NiDAR platform, which is integrated throughout the site, is an AI-powered solution that can detect, verify and defend against asymmetric threats. The system combines sensors and effectors in all areas, providing operators with a unified situational awareness. By integrating physical sensors and effectors with artificial intelligence, the MARSS-NiDAR system significantly reduces the operational burden on operators and centralizes all critical decision-making processes in a single software solution.

Rob Balloch, Chief Revenue Officer of MARSS, commented: “The completion of this contract demonstrates MARSS’ ability to provide the comprehensive lifecycle support that is essential to ensure the operational efficiency of complex integrated platforms. Having led on this prestigious project, we are delighted that the client has turned to us again to ensure the smooth running of the system.”
