New personnel news from Milrem Robotics: After the company recently expanded its team with General Martin Herem, the former commander of the Estonian armed forces (-> message), Lieutenant Colonel Andris Sprivul, another long-standing member of the army, is now joining Milrem Robotics.

According to a recent announcement by the company, Sprivul brings 28 years of experience from the Estonian armed forces, including most recently two and a half years in Ukraine (-> current news from the Ukraine war).

“In Ukraine, I witnessed first-hand the critical role that innovative technologies such as unmanned vehicles play in modern warfare and the significant impact they have on the battlefield,” Sprivul said in a recent press release from the company. “Milrem Robotics’ Themis (note: Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System) and locally developed unmanned ground vehicles perform exceptionally well and make a real difference.”

Sprivul continues: “Being part of a team developing these technologies is incredibly motivating. It’s important to understand how these capabilities improve modern defense operations and contribute to overall efficiency.”
