How Iveco Defense Vehicles (IDV) announced that the company will supply a further 658 tactical-logistic trucks to the Italian army and thus extend the original contract from the year 2024 for 1,453 vehicles.
This will increase the total number of trucks to 2,111 units, which are scheduled for delivery by 2039. The aim is to drive forward the renewal and modernization of the Italian army and strengthen logistical capacities.

The additional vehicles are based on the new range of IDV standard military trucks in a variety of logistics platforms, including material transport trucks, water and fuel tankers, container transporters, recovery vehicles and towing systems. In addition, IDV will provide logistical support including maintenance and assistance for the entire fleet.
For IDV, this contract extension represents another important milestone in its cooperation with the Italian armed forces.
