The Austrian Armed Forces received a creative award from the “Content Marketing Forum”, Europe’s largest content marketing association, in the “Best of Content Marketing 2021” competition. The short films, which were produced together with Oscar-winning director Stefan Ruzowitzky for live broadcast by ORF and private broadcasters as part of the 2020 national holiday with the motto “We protect Austria!”, were shortlisted and included in the renowned “Best of Content Marketing” yearbook.
574 entries from five countries were submitted for this award, so being shortlisted as one of the top five entries and included in the yearbook is a very high honor. Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner is proud: “The Covid crisis posed particular challenges for those responsible for the anniversary exhibition in 2020. I am delighted that with the hybrid form of the event, the live coverage by ORF and private TV stations and especially with the short films by the great director Stefan Ruzowitzky, we were able to ensure a particularly wide reach and a live feeling in Austria’s living rooms despite the restrictions in place at the time.
