The Swedish defense company Saab will be presenting its entire range of ground combat weapons training products for the first time at I/ITSEC, which takes place from December 2 to 6. This was announced by the company in the run-up to the trade fair in the USA.

This is the first time that Saab is presenting its complete range of ground combat weapons – including the AT4, Carl-Gustaf M4 and NLAW weapon systems – as part of an indoor training solution at I/ITSEC. The Ground Combat Indoor Trainer is a virtual training solution that offers an affordable and realistic way to train soldiers. “In our Ground Combat Indoor Trainer, we have packed some of the most advanced technology offered in a training solution,” says Joakim Alhbin, Head of Training and Simulation at Saab. “By providing superior realism that surpasses anything else on the market, we make soldiers confident and ready for any challenge.” https://militaeraktuell.at/ukraine-schweden-lieferung-gripen-kampfjets/ The Ground Combat Indoor Trainer enables training with Saab’s weapon systems as well as other types of weapons, including small arms. The new training solution is also suitable for both individual and collective training. Having already launched outdoor trainers, Saab is now trying to cover the entire spectrum of training with the indoor trainer. Equipped with advanced technologies, the indoor trainer is, according to Saab, able to “optimize the way in which military personnel prepare for combat”. In addition, the new system is intended to create the necessary confidence required for the effective execution of missions.
