The new “Next Gen” tactical vehicle is based on the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD ZR2 and combines GM’s 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine with a 12-module battery pack and drive motors for the front and rear axles. These axles enable Silent Drive and Silent Watch technologies, which should make the vehicle harder to detect.
