The Tyrolean company Gloryfy produces glasses for extreme situations. Thanks to special and patented plastics, the glasses are unbreakable, as Managing Director Christoph Egger reveals in an interview with Militär Aktuell.
Mr. Egger, how do Gloryfy sports glasses differ from the rest of the market?
Our glasses offer a unique combination of style, perfect protection for the eyes and technical innovation. The unbreakable sunglasses and glasses made from the patented special material NBFX are the perfect companions for every situation. They offer more comfort than any other glasses for sport, everyday life and travel and are forgiving of any everyday mishaps, such as when stowing them in a rucksack or the classic “top seat” in the car.
Is Gloryfy also suitable for tactical or shooting sports?
Our goggles have been a very popular product with many emergency services, such as the Austrian police, for years. As our sports glasses comply with the EN 166 standard, they are also often used in the field or on the shooting range. The Gloryfy G13 and G15 comply with STANAG 2920 and have a ballistic limit V-50 of 10.9 joules. The STANAG 2920 is a NATO-standardization regulation that defines the requirements for ballistic protective eyewear.
