The NCO Society Salzburg has donated a total of 1,800 euros to the “Comradeship Aid Campaign”. This is the net proceeds from the NCO ball in the Schwarzenberg barracks.

The cheque was presented by the President of the NCO Society, Vice-Lieutenant Vitus Thaler, to the Salzburg Military Commander Brigadier Anton Waldner and the Managing Chairman of Aktion Kameradschaftshilfe, Helmut Oberascher. Helmut Oberascher and the military commander were delighted with the check and the fact that Salzburger Sparkasse once again increased the net proceeds by EUR 400 this year. The head of Sparkasse Wals, Manfred Vitzthum, came by personally to hand over the check.
The “Aktion Kameradschaftshilfe” provides quick and unbureaucratic support to innocent soldiers in need. Valuable help is often provided here, especially after sudden strokes of fate.
