For the Austrian group Frequentis the first half of 2024 was a success. Both order intake and revenue increased by around ten percent. The good result is rounded off by a 13.6 percent increase in the order backlog to EUR 621.1 million.

“Thanks to our well-positioned product portfolio and the targeted commitment of our more than 2,300 employees, we are continuing to grow steadily – on all continents. The global megatrends of safety and mobility are supporting this growth path,” says Frequentis CEO Norbert Haslacher. “All key parameters for the first half of the year, such as order intake, order backlog and sales, have grown by around ten percent or more. The order backlog has exceeded EUR 600 million for the first time.” https://militaeraktuell.at/oshkosh-schliesst-milliarden-vertrag-us-armee/

More orders in both segments

The Air Traffic Management segment achieved growth of 9.9% in the first half of 2024. Among other things, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Frequentis a prestigious long-term contract. Frequentis was commissioned with the nationwide implementation of the ground-to-air protocol conversion system for the US National Airspace System, which transports over one billion passengers per year. In the Public Safety & Transport segment, order intake rose by nine percent. New orders received here supported the strategic market expansion in Australia, South East Asia, the Middle East and North America. https://militaeraktuell.at/saab-schweden-kauft-giraffe-x1-radare/

Sales and earnings performance

By region, Frequentis generated almost two thirds in Europe, 17% in North and South America, 12% in Asia and 7% in Australia, the Pacific region and Africa. In the same period, order intake rose by 9.6 percent to EUR 227.9 million and the order backlog reached EUR 621.1 million, an increase of 13.6 percent. In view of these figures, Frequentis believes it is “well on track” to achieve an increase in revenue and order intake in 2024 compared to 2023.
