As Militär Aktuell has already reported, Air Ambulance Technology GmbH (AAT) from Ranshofen in Upper Austria has been awarded the received the order to supply four EMS kits for the Austrian Armed Forces’ AW169.

The specialist for air rescue technology has now announced on his Linkedin account that the first fitting has recently taken place.

AAT carried out in close cooperation with the Austrian Armed Forces conducted a fit check of the new equipment on the AW169. The equipment supplier describes the practical test as extremely valuable – it is intended to ensure that all components are perfectly integrated and fully operational for real missions.

AAT is with Leonardo AAT kits are already in use for the AW139 and AW189 – as well as for numerous other helicopter types. The company also supplies systems for Airbus-models such as the H125, H130, H135, H145, H155, H175 and H225 as well as for Bell 205, 212 and 412, the MD900, the Mi-8 and Mi-17 as well as the Black Hawk.

In addition, AAT equips fixed-wing aircraft such as the Beechcraft Super King Air 300/350, the Cessna Citation 550/560, the Dornier 328, the Learjets 45/55/60 and military transport aircraft such as the C-130 Hercules with customized pallet and container solutions. AAT has over 30 Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for these diverse missions.
