At the end of June, the the offer of the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) to purchase twelve UH-60M Black Hawk from manufacturer Sikorsky was accepted. At the Farnborough International Airshow, Austria’s Armaments Director Major General Harald Vodosek paid a visit to Vice President and General Manager Richard Benton at the Sikorsky stand.
The two discussed “the advanced features of the UH-60M Black Hawk” on site, according to a recent statement.

Incidentally, Austria was the first Black Hawk operator in Europe and, in Sikorsky’s view, “paved the way for a Black Hawk and Seahawk fleet that is constantly growing and currently covers 14 countries across the continent”.
