At the Enforce Tac, which starts on Monday ODM will announce a new partnership with Tactical Headsets Sweden AB. “This will complement and expand our portfolio in a unique way,” ODM told Militär Aktuell.
As the future exclusive partner of Tactical Headsets in the DACH region, ODM will initially distribute a patented neck microphone in combination with in-ear plugs, which is “compatible with most common communication systems”, as it says.
The Neckmic is worn around the neck and is therefore ideal for use under helmets with visors, protective masks and in noisy environments. External noise is effectively filtered out so that clear and distinct communication is guaranteed at all times.
According to ODM, the Neckmic is available “in various configurations” and is “universally applicable”. This can also be tested directly at Enforce Tac: ODM is simulating extremely loud operating conditions in a special sound box at its stand (7A-540) – from military noises to vehicle noise. Visitors will be able to experience the Neckmic’s exceptional speech quality for themselves.
