A new forum will celebrate its premiere as part of the Enforce Tac 2025 trade fair: the Ammo Symposium. According to the organizers, the symposium will provide a platform “to analyse the urgent challenges and future strategies in ammunition supply”. Leading experts and decision-makers will come together to discuss current challenges in ammunition procurement.
Focus on ammunition procurement
In light of current geopolitical tensions and an increasing demand for ammunition – both in Europe and worldwide – the Ammo Symposium aims to be the central meeting point for leading experts, decision-makers and procurers. The event will address the pressing shortages in ammunition production and procurement caused by the ongoing conflicts, such as the one in Ukraine (-> current news from the Ukraine war), are becoming increasingly relevant. Several EU states are currently cooperating to secure the supply of ammunition and ensure stable supply chains for European defense in the long term. This topic is also being discussed intensively at European level – most recently in statements by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who considers coordinated ammunition procurement at European level to be essential. https://militaeraktuell.at/knds-schweiz-entscheidung-agm-piranha-iv/ “Enforce Tac 2025 will set new standards not only in terms of its size, but also in terms of the depth of its content. With the Ammo Symposium, we are creating a platform that is specifically dedicated to the most pressing issues of ammunition supply and brings together the right players. Our partnership with RWS GmbH underlines the importance of this topic for the entire industry,” explains Luisa Seibt, Head of Marketing at Enforce Tac. Alexandra Cristea, VP in Sales and R&D (Research & Development) at RWS GmbH, a manufacturer of small caliber ammunition and pyrotechnic elements, emphasizes the importance of this forum: “In a rapidly changing global security landscape, it is crucial to find new approaches for transparent and efficient collaboration together. This event offers us the opportunity to share our knowledge and work together with procurers and the industry on innovative strategies for the future.”
Top-class program
The symposium will be characterized by expert presentations and a concluding discussion round. Participants will have the opportunity to network with leading industry representatives and gain insights into current topics and challenges in ammunition procurement. It will also provide an opportunity to engage with relevant stakeholders and collaborate on forward-thinking solutions for the supply of today and tomorrow. “At a time when ammunition procurement and production capacities are being scrutinized worldwide, the Ammo Symposium provides a valuable framework for confidential discussions and the development of joint solution strategies. We look forward to further promoting the exchange between procurers, industry and political decision-makers,” says Isabelle Teufert, event manager at Enforce Tac, with conviction.
