At the end of 2024, the 500th anniversary of Empl Unimog U5000 built by Empl was officially received by the Lithuanian Armed Forces Depot Service in Kaunas. The robust, all-terrain vehicles are used for logistical supply, personnel transportation, medical evacuation and special personnel tasks.

“The consistent supply of our troops must not end there,” said Defense Minister Laurynas Kasčiūnas during the event, and NSPA representative Ozcan Gumustekin also confirmed: “We are proud to be able to complete this important project with the Lithuanian Armed Forces and are ready to work together again.”
