As Elbit Systems Deutschland (ESDE) recently announced, Markus Holz took over as Vice President of the C4I&Cyber division in March and has thus also joined the management of Elbit Systems Deutschland (ESDE).
After studying business administration at the Bundeswehr University in Munich, Markus Holz completed a bilingual Master’s degree in Global Management at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. His military career took him from training as an army officer through a wide variety of senior assignments, most recently in the Mountain Infantry Brigade 23. Mr. Holz gained international experience early on during several months of industrial assignments in the USA, German-Canadian soldier exchanges and KFOR missions. Since leaving the troops, Mr. Holz has remained active as a reserve officer. https://militaeraktuell.at/schiebel-und-thales-erhalten-uk-marine-auftrag/ Born in Heidelberg, Mr. Holz began his civilian career at EADS Deutschland GmbH in 2004 as a key account manager in Immenstaad on Lake Constance, where he was primarily responsible for the worldwide sale of command and control (information) systems. After several years of project management in the German FüInfoSys Heer project, management positions followed very quickly, such as international head of soldier modernization programs at EADS, sales manager for land-based operations in Germany for Airbus Defense & Space, global sales management for the Avionics product segment and, most recently, the development and management of the FCAS business unit at Hensoldt. Here, Markus Holz and his team helped to set up several industrial consortia and acted as consortium leader for the FCMS consortium, among others. “Helping to shape the technological future of the air forces in Germany, France and Spain as part of the multinational FCAS/NGWS program multinational program over the past five years has been an extremely complex task. With the move to ESDE, I am pleased to be able to contribute my expertise and experience in the field of C4I&Cyber in all capability dimensions and to cover the short-term needs of our NATO forces from a broad range of products,” commented the new management member on his position.
