Sensor specialist Hensoldt is presenting its technologies for the air, sea and land sectors at DSEI this week. In London, Hensoldt will be presenting sensor solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions as well as sensors to improve self-protection.
In the land sector, Hensoldt will present the “Multi Utility Vehicle” (MUV), a solution for armored vehicles, including optronic systems such as MUSS (Multifunctional Self-Defence System) and SETAS (See Through Armour System). The Ceretron computing unit in turn combines sensors, fuses their data streams, evaluates them in seconds, processes them and provides the crew and users in the command post with an AI-supported operational picture so that decisions can be made more efficiently and quickly. https://militaeraktuell.at/gdels-steyr-ceo-martin-reischer-im-gespraech/ Hensoldt’s portfolio of active and passive land radar sensors is complemented by the TwinSens sensor solution. To enable end users to secure their territory against attacks from hostile missiles and aircraft, Hensoldt has combined its TRML-4D active air defense radar with its Twinvis passive radar. This solution protects air defense systems from enemy interference by reducing active transmission times and thus the electromagnetic footprint. Hensoldt will also be showcasing its Spexer family of mobile battlefield radar solutions, designed to provide detection data with associated target classification as a basis for countering asymmetric threats. A selection of weapon sights will also be on display. https://militaeraktuell.at/26699-2/ In the air segment, Hensoldt will be presenting its PrecISR airborne multi-mission surveillance radar and other sensors such as the ARGOS II electro-optical gimbal, which can be seamlessly integrated into the Xplorer mission system. With MissionGrid, Hensoldt is also showcasing a scalable mission system that utilizes the full functionality of the company’s radar and electro-optical sensor range. Combined with data fusion and mission management software, MissionGrid offers an increase in capability that enables a single aircraft to fly multiple missions. In the maritime sector, Hensoldt will be exhibiting the SharpEye range of 2D navigation radars and the Integrated Navigation Bridge System (INBS). These systems are used by the British Royal Navy and the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Hensoldt will also present a range of optronic multi-sensor masts for submarines, such as the OMS 150 and OMS 300.
