Donaustahl GmbH has commissioned Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH (IABG) to carry out test campaigns for the NATO-standardization of its new series of warheads for drones.
“In the renowned IABG, we have found the ideal partner to test our UAV warheads for compliance with the highest safety and performance standards. This is a decisive step towards aligning our technologies for the Western market,” says Donaustahl Managing Director Stefan Thumann (-> Interview with Militär Aktuell).
According to the company, the tests include “extensive detonation and safety tests to ensure functionality and compatibility with NATO requirements”.
Donaustahl GmbH is Germany’s first company to develop and produce combat-ready FPV loitering ammunition in Germany and supply it to Ukraine (-> current news from the Ukraine war).
