The two companies Diehl Defence and Tauber have founded the joint venture “TD Services GmbH”. Both companies each hold half of the shares in the company, with Tauber taking the industrial lead. The aim of the joint venture is to expand the companies’ capacities in the areas of ammunition disposal, logistics and inventory management.

While Diehl Defence is a supplier of air defense systems, missiles and numerous other military weapons and ammunition, Tauber is a specialist in explosive ordnance disposal. As a general contractor, Tauber offers a complete range of services in this area, from aerial image analysis to explosive ordnance disposal. Through the acquisition of storage, logistics and delaboration capacities, the strategic partnership between Diehl Defence and Tauber is intended to strengthen the industrial basis for the realization of the intended production expansion.
