The integration of Stascheit GmbH rounds off the product portfolio of Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH in the field of explosive ordnance disposal. According to Rheinmetall, the company is aiming for annual sales of around 80 million euros in the medium term.

The two companies have already worked together successfully in the past, for example in the detection of explosive ordnance in the North Sea, which was mainly used during maintenance work on offshore wind farms. Before laying submarine pipelines in the Baltic Sea and in Spain, the companies were able to successfully destroy munitions together.

The main business activities of Stascheit GmbH, which has been owner-managed to date, are the detection, evaluation, recovery and destruction of explosive ordnance and archaeological prospection as well as the investigation of contaminated sites and all associated activities including challenging diving and salvage work.

“With the acquisition of Stascheit, we are strengthening our position in the field of security technology solutions and expanding our portfolio with important competencies,” says Deniz Akitürk, Managing Director of Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH. “We look forward to working with Stascheit’s talented team and to jointly offering innovative solutions for our national and international customers.”
