Special award for Colonel of the General Staff Wolfgang Kralicek: With the Grand Decoration of Honour, the Republic of Austria not only recognizes his long career, but above all an exceptional level of commitment, sense of responsibility and fulfilment of duty. Colonel Kralicek’s work was always characterized by professionalism, reliability and a clear commitment to the values of the country and the Austrian Armed Forces.
As an officer, he bore leadership responsibility for many years, passed on his experience and set standards through his actions. He was not only a superior, but also a role model – for his comrades as well as for future generations.
His retirement marks the end of a significant period in his life, but his contribution will have an impact far beyond his active service. The Deputy Commander of the Air Force, Brigadier Wolfgang Prieler, congratulated him on behalf of all those present and presented him with this prestigious award.
