As part of the airspace security operation “Daedalus25” the command of the radar battalion was handed over from Colonel Thomas Burgstaller to Colonel of the General Staff Service Karoline Resch by the commander of airspace surveillance, Brigadier Roman Hofer.
Colonel Karoline Resch was commissioned to lead the battalion for one year and assumed this responsibility as part of her assignment as a general staff officer.
She began her service in 2006 after graduating from the Theresian Military Academy and has held various positions since then. Between 2013 and 2016, she completed the 20th General Staff Course.
