The Canadian government has Saab an order for the RBS 70 NG short-range air defense system. The order is worth around 156 million euros and delivery will begin in 2024.
The order also includes all the equipment required to operate the RBS 70 NG, including launchers, missiles, transport vehicles, training and support. The RBS 70 NGs now on order are intended to meet the urgent operational requirements of the Canadian Soldier Portable Air Defense System Program.
