Prestigious success for the domestic glove manufacturer Eska. The Upper Austrian family business was honored by the German Armed Forces to manufacture and supply up to 2,470 pairs of winter sniper gloves.

@EskaEska was able to draw on its broad expertise and material portfolio when designing the glove: the backhand of the glove, which was specially developed for snipers, is made from a sepcial knitted fabric with IR emission protection, while the palm is made from supple, robust and water-repellent Häberling young goatskin. The glove is also made from a windproof, waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex insert, while the Grip digital leather in the palm and thumb area ensures optimum grip. To ensure an optimum fit, Eska finishes the gloves with a special seam technology (English topstitching). All materials used are flame-retardant (flammability level 4) https://militaeraktuell.at/rukapol-beschuht-ab-sofort-das-bundesheer/ The framework agreement concluded between the German Armed Forces and Eska stipulates a minimum order quantity of 900 pairs, which began on April 1, 2023 and runs until March 31, 2027. The company did not provide any information on the order value; the gloves are available in sizes 7 to 12, including half sizes.
