Quantum Systems and Blackned will work together in future on the digitalization and secure networking of unmanned systems in modern combat environments.
“This groundbreaking partnership combines Quantum Systems’ advanced multi-sensor UAS with Blackned’s Tactical Core Information and Communication Middleware,” according to a recent press release. And further: “The aim is to set a new, advanced standard for operational efficiency and integration.”

“The support of different transmission systems as well as the independence of specific applications enable a high degree of adaptability – from manned and unmanned platforms to existing missions, operational scenarios and systems already in use,” says Joel Langenberg, CEO of Blackned (-> Interview with Militär Aktuell).
Thanks to open interfaces and software development kits, the most suitable third-party applications can be seamlessly integrated and made ready for immediate use.

“This partnership is a significant step towards secure, cross-domain data transmission,” explained Sven Kruck, Co-CEO of Quantum Systems. By supporting various transmission systems and being independent of specific applications, the collaboration should offer “unprecedented flexibility for military operations”, according to the press release. “This opens up completely new possibilities for the Bundeswehr.”
