Babcock, in collaboration with ST Engineering, presented its 120-mm Ground Deployed Advanced Mortar System (GDAMS) at DVD 2024. The vehicle-mounted, mobile 120-millimeter GDAMS is based on ST Engineering’s technology and was developed for the British armed forces.

It is the result of a collaboration between Babcock and ST Engineering, bringing together skills, technology and solutions from both companies. The aim was to strengthen the UK’s next generation of indirect fire weapon systems.
Commenting on the new mortar system, Retired Brigadier General Jin Kiat Chua, Head of ST Engineering’s International Business, Defense and Public Safety, said: “GDAMS is the preeminent tactical fire solution that pushes performance to the limit and increases firepower.
