Every year, the City of Vienna thanks the voluntary and professional Viennese aid and emergency organizations for their work over the past year at the “Festival of Helpers” of the Vienna Disaster Protection Circle (“K-Kreis”) in the ballroom of Vienna City Hall. Most recently, the Vienna Military Command also received an award: Major Martin Malinowski received this for his public relations work.
Honorary prize awarded to officer of the Vienna Military Command
The Vienna Military Command was one of the first to join the “K-Circle” after the blue light organizations and can look back on many joint missions and exercises. He is responsible for all Viennese information officers, who are members of the Austrian Armed Forces from the militia and active ranks who have been trained in the field of military policy education. They inform the Austrian population about current security policy issues and numerous other relevant areas of the Armed Forces. Major Malinowski is and has been a passionate representative of the military command at the “Helpers of Vienna” countless times, thereby making a significant contribution to the security of the federal capital, as stated in a press release. He also took on numerous tasks in the areas of planning, coordination and implementation of major events and information initiatives.
