This year’s Safety Day in Grödig was a great success. Organized by the Grödig fire department, the event offered numerous insights into the work of aid organizations and attracted many interested visitors.
The Austrian Armed Forceswhich played a central role at the event, presented a large selection of equipment and gave detailed explanations of its diverse tasks. The pioneers, Jäger Battalion 8 and the military police in particular aroused great interest among the visitors. With vivid demonstrations and interesting information, they succeeded in demonstrating the importance of their work.

In addition to the army, the fire department, the Red Cross, the mountain rescue service and the police also demonstrated their skills in various performance shows. These demonstrations were not only educational, but also entertaining and showed the professionalism and commitment of the emergency services.
