Colonel of the General Staff Service Philipp Lach is the new Chief of Staff of the Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG) and takes over command of the 52nd Austrian KFOR contingent from Colonel of the General Staff Service Peter Tarmastin.
Brigadier Manfred Taschler symbolically handed over the insignia directly in the operations room.
The handover of command of the JLSG was announced by the commander of NATO-led mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, in a ceremony at the “Film City” camp in Pristina. Lach took over command from Colonel Alexandre Vautravers of the Swiss Army.
Major General Barduani thanked Colonel Vautravers for his leadership and commitment and emphasized the high level of commitment and professionalism shown by the unit’s personnel. He also wished Colonel Lach a successful term of office.
