ARX Robotics has received a major new order from Ukraine. The delivery of further Gereon systems will lead to the creation of a fleet-wide networked capability and, according to the German UGV manufacturer, will form the “world’s largest military robotics fleet”.

Part of the production will therefore take place at the ARX Robotics plant in Ukraine. At the same time, local suppliers and partner companies are scaling up their capacities on site.

The networked Gereon fleet is used across several military domains in a wide range of applications. It is based on the ARX Robotics Framework with Mithra OSwhich bundles autonomous functions, sensor technology and open interfaces and enables the coordination of fleets and system networks in dynamic deployment scenarios. Fleet-wide networking supports faster response times, secure logistics and increased operational sustainability, thereby strengthening land-based defense capabilities.

“This major order is a decisive vote of confidence and a clear mandate for scaling. By expanding the networked Gereon fleet, we are scaling a key capability with Ukraine and strengthening the German-Ukrainian partnership. At the same time, we are creating the basis for a robust, locally anchored supply chain,” says Marc Wietfeld, Co-Founder and CEO of ARX Robotics.

“Production at our Ukrainian plant and cooperation with local partners will speed up the rollout to the Ukrainian armed forces. Ukrainian armed forces and ensure supply during operation. We are building capacities and expertise in Ukraine that will create value beyond the order,” says Igor Kornilov, CEO ARX Ukraine.
