The shareholders of ARTEC GmbH (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V.) have decided to establish a subsidiary in the UK under the name ARTEC Boxer UK Ltd.
The company is to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of ARTEC GmbH and take over its operational tasks in the UK. This includes, in particular, service and maintenance services for the British Army in relation to the Boxer armored transport vehicle. In addition, ARTEC Boxer UK Ltd. will also be active in the export business. The agreement to establish ARTEC Boxer UK Ltd. was signed during the DSEI trade fair in London in September. According to the companies involved, the company’s operational objectives include expanding its market share in the service sector in the UK and gaining additional market share in the global market for highly protected 8×8 vehicles.
